Hello, 

My name is Jessica Strong, I am the owner of Dance Exploration, a mobile dance program currently located at the Castle Rock Rec Center in Castle Rock Colorado (2301 Woodlands Blvd). I am also the owner of Dance to Learn® a resource for Dance Teachers looking to improve their preschool dance programs with done-for-you lesson plans and digital downloads. 

 

I am seeking an individual who is passionate about dance education for preschool and early elementary aged children. The Dance Exploration Program at the Castle Rock Rec Center teaches dance classes to children ages 18months-10. We follow the Dance to Learn® Curriculum, which is a whole child approach to dance education. Our conceptual lesson plans follow themes and multi-sensory experiences to ensure we captivate each child that participates in our program. I am seeking a dance professional who is looking to train in the Dance to Learn® Curriculum for the remainder of 2022, so they may be prepared to teach as a lead instructor in 2023. 

 

Starting in November-December 2022, I am seeking an apprentice to join me in classes to assist and train, hands on, in the Dance to Learn® Curriculum. The apprenticeship is a paid position. $18-$22/class.

 

Beginning Jan-May 2023, I am looking to turn over the following classes to the apprentice as a lead teaching opportunity. The lead teacher is a paid position. $30-$60/Class. You will also receive access to our Dance to Learn® Curriculum Library.

FRIDAYS

9:30-10:00am Mommy, Teddy Bear and Me

10:05-10:50am Creative Dance

5:20-6:20pm Pre-Ballet

6:25-7:25 Broadway Dance

 

All Classes are located at 2301 Woodlands Blvd.
