I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself!

Retired Ballet Dancer!
As a child I received my pre professional training from Colorado Ballet Academy and danced in their studio company! From there I went on to dance professionally for 7 seasons with Ballet Ariel. During my time as a working ballet dancer,

 

Entrepreneur!

I started the Dance Exploration Program (back in 2009). I started as a Mobile Dance Program traveling into local schools across Colorado! We were the premiere dance program until 2020 when I made the decision to cease operations in the schools and focus solely on the dance program for the Town of Castle Rock Government

 

Professional Princess!

A few years into operating Dance Exploration I hosted my popular Fairy Tale Princess Dance Camp! I bought a Princess Anna dress off Amazon and taught the Frozen day in costume! Parents LOVED IT and asked me to do birthday parties! That’s how Dancing Princess Parties was born!

Curriculum Developer. 

Dance Exploration has been using the Dance to Learn® Curriculum since my program began in 2009! Dance to Learn® Curriculum is the Whole Child Dance Method™ When you peek into our classes you will witness our unique way of using multi-sensory props to create story-based experiences! For example, we won’t just dance through an obstacle course, but rather build a tree using balance beams, balance stones, hula hoops and leaves The Dance to Learn® Curriculum is now sold and used by over 1100+ dance teachers and studio owners across the globe

 

Children’s Book Author!

I’ve always wanted to have a fun and fanciful character to use in my program! So I partnered with my mom and together we created the Florrie Flamingo children’s book series I wrote the books so they could be integrated into dance class so we read and dance along to each page! The books are self-published and sold internationally on Amazon!
